Prior to William Paterson: An all-county, third-team all-Shore Conference and third-team all-state selection as a senior at Toms River H.S. East, compiling 18 goals and 12 assists … Earned all-county and third-team all-Shore laurels during his junior campaign, posting 11 goals and eight assists … Scored six goals and assisted three times as a sophomore, and reached the state championship as a freshman … Competed with the SJA club team for six seasons, ranking sixth in the state and advancing to the State Cup semifinals … Also lettered in baseball where he was a two-time Offensive Player of the Year selection.
