WAYNE, N.J. – Juniors
Isabella Paladino (Leonardo, N.J./Middletown South) and
Makayla Yancey (Phoenix, Ariz./Ridgeline Academy), along with sophomore
Allison Stein (Hewitt, N.J./West Milford), were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Tennis Team May 12.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's days of competition with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at their current institution. No student-athlete is eligible until they have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Paladino won four singles matches while recording six victories in doubles action as a communication major.
Yancey, a speech language pathology major, secured four doubles and two singles wins.
Stein logged six doubles and two singles wins while majoring in nursing.
